Welcome to
The InvestorDetectives Guide to Investing.

My name is Edward Siedle and I have been referred to in the press as the "Sam Spade of Money Management" and the "Pension Detective." My job is investigating wrongdoing by stockbrokers and money managers that results in harm to investors. I would like to encourage you to become an InvestorDetective yourself and contribute your knowledge about such wrongdoing to this wiki website.

The goal of this Guide is to both enhance investor protection and increase the likelihood of successful investing through education. Unlike information provided by regulators, self-regulators or the securities industry itself, the Guide provides material that is uncompromised by conflicts of interest. Think of this as a grass roots, citizen's early warning system.

Someone once said, "When you cease to learn, you cease to earn." In the securities industry the joke has been, "When you cease to churn, you cease to earn."

We hope the Guide will enable you to keep learning (especially before you invest) and keep earning the riches you undoubtedly deserve.
